About the team:
We are looking for a Finance Business Specialist to be based at our Mangaluru office in India, and to be part of our growth story.
As part of our expansion of the Finance function in Mangalore, India, we are extending our team of process experts to better serve our growing business and expanding Finance base in India. We are seeking a Process Optimization Specialist who is adept at analyzing, standardizing and enhancing Accounts Receivable and Invoicing & Collection processes. This role is pivotal in driving the optimization of our Order-to-Cash workflows.

You will report to our Finance Processes & PMI team in Denmark.
Responsibilities:
Process Improvement & Standardization
Work on continuous improvement of customer billing and collections processes.
Roll out standardized processes across the group's different business units
Analyse existing processes and help standardize best practices across regions.
Document processes and controls to ensure consistency and scalability.
Invoicing & Collections Analytics
Analyse billing and collections data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
Track key KPIs such as billing accuracy, invoice cycle time, and overdue receivables.
Support root‑cause analysis for billing errors and delayed collections.
Systems & Automation Support
Use Oracle NetSuite (primary ERP) to analyse data and support process enhancements.
Work with IT and automation teams on workflow improvements and automation initiatives.
Support business requirement gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Assess how AI can support and improve processes.
Governance, Controls & Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal finance policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain high‑quality process documentation and governance records.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Shared Service Centers, Business Units, Finance Controllers, and IT teams.
Participate in discussions with global stakeholders and help drive process changes.
Act as a subject‑matter support contact for invoicing and collections topics.By taking on these responsibilities, you'll be directly involved in shaping the future of finance at EG, setting a strong foundation for our processes and supporting the efficient, compliant growth of our finance operations.
Experience
5–10 years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or continuous improvement roles, within Order‑to‑Cash (OTC), Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, or Collections
Track record of redesigning or automating finance processes — not just executing them
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred; SAP or similar acceptable)
Exposure to global finance operations or shared services is an advantage
Work experience from one of the Big 4 audit firms is a plus

Process‑oriented mindset with attention to detail
Ability to question existing ways of working and suggest improvements
Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Comfortable working across geographies and time zones
Ability to work independently as well as in team environments
Education
Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Consulting experience is a plus, but not mandatory
