Product Owner - Facility Management
Shape smarter, more sustainable property operations by turning customer needs into a powerful facility management product used by municipalities and property owners.
Shape the future of digital facility management - turning customer needs into a product that gives municipalities and property owners real control over their operations.
Do you want to help build the vertical software of tomorrow, creating sustainable value for customers and society? Are you a Product Owner with a technology background - ideally with experience within facility management, operations and maintenance?
Then you might be our new Product Owner!
As part of the department
You will join an international team working on a facility management product, a leading solution for facility management, operations and maintenance. It is built for municipalities, county municipalities and private organisations with large property portfolios, giving them full control, structured reporting and solid financial management. We are a dedicated team of innovators and problem-solvers and taking ownership of our contribution - to our customers, to each other and to the society we live in - is central to how we work.
As our new Product Owner, you will take a central role in our development team. You will own and develop the product backlog, act as the link between customers, developers and stakeholders, and work closely with our Product Manager to make sure the product meets both our strategic goals and our users' needs. The role is primarily based in Bergen, but we also have offices in Trondheim, Tromsø and Oslo, and we welcome applications from candidates based in any of these cities. For the right person, the work location can be adapted, and we make room for collaboration and belonging across locations. You will work closely with the wider organisation in Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Finland, as well as our development team in India. Some travel should be expected.
Your main task will be to understand and describe customer needs, and to prioritise the development work that creates the most value at any given time.
Your Tasks: Prioritise, Connect, and Drive the Backlog
Ensure everyone on the team understands what is being built - and why.
Create and continuously update the product backlog.
Prioritise tasks based on business value, user needs and technical considerations.
Keep the backlog clear, transparent and easy for the team to understand.
Translate needs and feedback into concrete requirements and improvements.
Be available to clarify and support the team throughout the development process.
Take an active part in sprint planning, review and retrospective.
Ensure the team always has the right context and priorities.
With us, you get to combine facility management expertise with technology that enables smarter property operations, predictive maintenance and sustainable solutions in practice.
You are the ideal candidate if you
Are a bridgebuilder with a sharp eye for what creates value - and prioritise hard to get there fast.
Are driven by curiosity to keep exploring new ways to build efficient and sustainable solutions.
Have experience from organisations that develop software.
Thrive both working in a team and working independently.
Preferably hold a bachelor's or master's degree in IT.
Have a genuine interest in how AI can support and improve product development and prioritisation.
Have relevant experience as a Product Owner (an advantage).
Have at least three years of relevant work experience (an advantage).
You have great Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken.
What's in it for you?
One of the best professional environments in Scandinavia, with knowledgeable colleagues who share their experience and support your development.
Short decision paths and real influence on your everyday work.
An agile work environment with a strong focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Good opportunities for professional and personal growth.
The chance to develop innovative products using new technology.
Our Values:
