Senior System Consultant - Edlevo
Keep critical school systems running and evolving - using your expertise in servers, integrations, SQL and AI to make a real difference for schools across the Nordics.
Keeping the systems thousands of schools depend on running and never stop learning how to make them better.
As a Senior Systems Consultant you'll troubleshoot, configure, and build the infrastructure behind Edlevo, one of the most widely used student information systems in the Nordics. You'll work alongside specialists who are genuinely at the frontier of their field, use AI as a core part of how you solve problems, and grow deep technical expertise every day.
As part of the department
You'll join the team behind Edlevo, working on infrastructure that matters to thousands of students, guardians, and teachers every day. Our work keeps administration, schedules, attendance, and communication running safely and stably for schools across the Nordics, freeing school staff to spend more time on what really matters: student learning. You'll be part of a team moving into a newly renovated office on Södra Järnvägsgatan in Skellefteå this autumn.
Your Role: Keep Critical School Systems Running and Evolving
As a Senior Systems Consultant, you'll be a key player in our support and technical team, with a focus on Edlevo — a system used both on-premises and as a SaaS solution. You'll work closely with schools across the sector, supporting them with everything from advanced troubleshooting to installations and configuration, in both local server environments and our cloud solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, upgrade, and configure Edlevo and related third-party software
Work with federations and authentication, certificates, and integrations including configuration and troubleshooting in IIS and log analysis across technical integrations
Administer SQL Server via SSMS, including troubleshooting and minor database customizations
Working across varied technical environments alongside an experienced team of technical consultants and support specialists
Contribute to developing new technical services based on customer needs and emerging technology — helping strengthen digitalization in schools
Your Profile: Technical Depth Meets Proactive Problem-Solving
We believe you bring:
A degree in IT/technology or equivalent experience
Experience with server environments (Windows Server), IIS, or SQL Server, ideally from technical IT projects combining standard products with customer-specific adaptations
Interest in and ideally experience with authentication, federations, and integration solutions
Strong Swedish and English skills, spoken and written, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly
A proactive, curious approach you like to drive your own tasks forward and never stop developing
You proactively explore how AI and automation can improve troubleshooting, configuration, and technical workflows
You speak and write fluent Swedish, and communicate confidently in English
Nice to have:
Experience troubleshooting complex technical environments
Knowledge of web services, APIs, and related protocols
Experience designing or implementing integration solutions
