Team Manager & Solution Architect - Healthcare
Lead a talented integrations team, own compliance and shape healthcare technology used by 90% of Norway’s hospitals - combining technical depth with meaningful impact.
CheckWare's platform sits at the heart of clinical care in Norway - used by 90% of the country's hospitals for digital assessments, patient-reported outcomes and treatment follow-up. As we win bigger hospital customers and push into new clinical areas, integration requests from partners and hospital IT departments are only picking up pace.
This is a hands-on solution architect role with team leadership, and you get into the technical detail yourself.
As Part of the department
Product is scaling CheckWare into new clinical areas and landing some of its biggest customers yet — and every new deal brings a fresh wave of integration requests from hospital IT departments and health-tech partners. We're looking for a Team Manager and Solution Architect to lead a two-person integrations team and take personal ownership of compliance activities for our Healthcare products. You will be based in Trondheim, working directly with enterprise hospital customers, this is a hands-on role as together with the team you will have ownership of compliance and integrations.
Your Role: Lead, Own, and Scale Healthcare Integrations
Lead and grow a two-person integrations team, owning delivery of partner and third-party integrations end to end.
Own compliance for CheckWare's Healthcare products — track MDR and ISO 27001 requirements, translate them into concrete technical action, and keep documentation audit-ready.
Build and evolve an integration strategy for the Healthcare vertical, standardising patterns so each new partner connects faster, cheaper and with less risk.
Run tender management for Healthcare — technical response, compliance documentation and architecture input for enterprise hospital procurements.
Represent CheckWare technically with hospital IT teams and external partners, from design through to production.
Partner with Product and Development to embed compliance and security into the roadmap from the start, not as an afterthought.
You are the ideal candidate if you
We care more about what you can do than what your CV looks like. Here's what will set you up for success:
Must-have
Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
Are fluent in Norwegian, spoken and written — you'll work directly with Norwegian hospitals and partners.
Have experience leading a small team or indirect leadership track record.
Have hands-on experience with compliance in a regulated environment — MDR, ISO 27001, or equivalent.
Have solid technical grounding in system integrations and APIs, and how to make them work reliably at hospital scale.
Are comfortable moving between technical detail, compliance requirements and commercial conversations with enterprise customers.
Nice to have
Experience from healthcare, life sciences, or similar regulated, high-stakes software domain.
Exposure to some clinical or patient-record systems.
Comfortable navigating tender or procurement processes with public-sector or enterprise customers.
What's in it for you
Real ownership — You'll own compliance and partner integrations for a platform used in the majority of Norway's hospitals.
Meaningful impact — Every integration and every compliance call you make shapes how clinicians and patients use the platform, at a national scale.
Growth mandate — CheckWare is winning bigger customers and entering new clinical areas — you'll build the foundation that lets that growth hold.
Collaborative culture — A flat, direct team working closely with Product, Development and hospital partners — high trust, no politics.
Location & flexibility — Based out of our office in Trondheim with the flexibility that comes from working in a hybrid organisation.
Our Values
Lead the Industry — We bring deep industry expertise and help our customers lead their industry.
Make it Happen — We take ownership, move fast and deliver real impact.
Stronger Together — We collaborate across borders with high standards, trust, openness and no politics.
We look forward to hearing from you!
